Melbourne

Location: JJ Holland Park.

Transport

Train: take the green line towards Werribee or Williamstown, disembark at South Kensington Station. The station is right next to the field. From the Melbourne city centre this is about a 15 minute journey. If traveling from outside of the city you might need to change trains at Flinders st or Southern Cross stations.

Bus: Bus number 402 has several stops along Kensington Rd next to the park. Disembark at Altona St/Kensington Rd, or Mercantile Pde/Kensington Rd for the closest. This bus travels around the north side of the city center through the suburbs of Carlton and North Melbourne.

Tram: The closest tram stop is 17 minutes walk away. Take Tram number 57 and disembark at NewmarketPlaze/Racecourse Rd, then leg it south to the field. Its about a 30 minute journey from the city centre, plus the walk.

Car: There is free no time-limit street parking at the train station along Childers St, and along Kensington Rd and the side streets. Be aware that parking along the north side of the park on Altona St has a 3hr time limit.
There are also a small number of parks on the entry road in front of the children's co-operative next the field. If you're not carrying much equipment, please park elsewhere and leave these for the organisers and cars carrying all of the gear :)

Food and Water

The nearest shops are a 10 minute walk north along Macaulay Rd, including a small range of shops and a small grocer. Further north around Newmarket train station on Racecourse Rd are more shops and various fast food options. This is a 20 minute walk or 6 minute drive from the field. We advise bringing food with you to the tournament if possible.

Several water fountains can be found throughout the park close to the field.


 

Sydney

Location: Parade Grounds (Centennial Park)

Transport

Train/Light Rail: To get from the city center to our game field, get to Central train station, then catch the light rail to Moore Park, which is only a 10 minutes ride from Central Station. The field is a 20 minute walk from the light rail stop.

Bus: You can catch the 440 Bus every 20 minutes from Central Station, Stand C on Eddy Ave. This will take you north of the park where you will get off at the "Light Brigade Hotel", on Oxford Street. It is a short 10 minute walk down to the field from there.

Car/Uber: There is free no time limit parking inside centennial park during daylight hours across all internal roads. Parking along Hamilton Drive, Parkes Drive and Grand Drive are your best chance. If you are taking a taxi or Uber, you can direct them to the Federation Pavilion and walk from there.

Food and Water

There is a cafe at the Centennial Homestead as well as water refill and various other cafes and coffee trucks/ice cream trucks scattered around Centennial Park. Oxford St has a range of options but is a 15 minute walk away.
